Position: Registered Manager – Residential Care Home
Location: Near Gillingham, Kent
Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Registered Manager to lead a residential care home near Gillingham, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for an established manager who is passionate about delivering high-quality care, developing their team and ensuring residents receive the highest standards of support.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the delivery of safe, person-centred care while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance and resident wellbeing.
You will lead, motivate and develop your team, create a positive working culture and ensure the home operates in line with regulatory requirements and best practice.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Overseeing the day-to-day management and smooth running of the care home.
• Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care that promotes residents' dignity, independence and wellbeing.
• Maintaining compliance with CQC regulations, legislation and internal policies.
• Leading, supporting and developing the staff team, promoting a positive and inclusive working environment.
• Managing staffing, recruitment, training and performance to ensure the home is appropriately resourced.
• Monitoring care standards, audits, policies and procedures, implementing improvements where required.
• Building positive relationships with residents, families, staff and external professionals.
• Driving continuous improvement and ensuring the home delivers the best possible outcomes for residents.
• About You
• We are looking for an established and confident Registered Manager who can demonstrate strong leadership skills and a genuine commitment to quality care.
Ideally, you will have:
• Previous experience working as a Registered Manager within a residential care home setting.
• An NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• A strong understanding of CQC regulations, compliance and quality assurance.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to motivate a team and maintain high standards of care.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• A genuine passion for delivering outstanding care and improving residents' quality of life.
• Experience in turning around a care home, improving compliance or raising care standards would be a distinct advantage, although this is not essential.

The Interview Process
